We have just been notified by Angel Food Ministries that there will be no Angel Food orders accepted for September, 2011. This is due to a drop in box count nationwide. If you have ordered direct from Angel Food they will refund the money directly to you. If you have order through Grace Covenant we will return your check to you. A Ministry at Grace Covenant: Grace Covenant Church is a host site for Angel Food Ministries. Angel Food Ministries is a non-profit, non-denominational organization dedicated to providing grocery relief for everyone. What is Angel Food? Angel Food is available in a quantity that can fit into a medium-sized box at $35.00 per unit. There a several month special available. Each month’s menu is different the previous month and consists of both fresh and frozen items with an average retail value of approximately $60. Bargain and a Blessing! Generally speaking, one unit of food assists in feeding a family of four for about one week or a single senior citizen for almost a month. The food is all the same high quality one would purchase at a grocery store. There are no second-hand items, no damaged or out-date goods, no dented cans without labels, no day-old breads and no produce that is almost too ripe. No Applications! No qualifications! There are no requirements to purchase “Angel Food” it is open to anyone in the community to purchase for their needs or to help someone else.
